Tough game but felt we deserved the draw …..

Today’s squad Frankie, Morgan, Tom, Jack, Harry, Edonis, Saul, Louis, Joey, Reynolds, Gabe, Connor, Morris and Arlind.

Lunchtime Kick-Off, You all came nice and early but we didn’t kick off till nearer 12:45 after the pitch was ready and the referee arrived. You started so well taking them by surprise and after good work by Joey down the left, he fed Gabe who cut inside and shot into the bottom corner. Really nice goal and the good thing was you did what we asked and had a shot to test the keeper. 0.1

Next five minutes we created chances one of them being Reynolds closed down the keeper and the clearance rebounded off him and just wide of the post.

Now the next 25 minutes was one way traffic, again we looked dangerous on the break but invited too much pressure. So many things not right, Not closing, too deep, giving the ball away, clearances straight to the opposition. Frankie made four of five really good saves to keep us in the game. However the goal came, we didn’t close and they scored 1.1

Last five minutes we started to push higher up the pitch and began cause them problems i think it was now that we had our second shoot on target after good work by Connor to Morris which the keeper saved well. HT 1.1

Second half and we started on the front foot and had them under pressure and very unlucky not to take the lead after Harry swung a dangerous ball in from the right and somehow we failed to put the ball in the net. Reynolds then created a great chance after dogged work down the left which we couldn’t convert. Soon after the game turned on a break away. They broke and we failed to go with the runners, a easy ball down our right and they looked to pass it into a empty net however they overplayed it and was played back into the penalty area where we gave a penalty away. A really good penalty Frankie no chance. 2.1

Next ten minutes whilst in attack we were causing problems, but not taking our chances we were punished at the back. Again we let them play to easy the left winger was played in and ran in unchallenged and scored as Frankie came out. 3.1

I still felt you were not out this game but soon it seemed the task would be too much. Defence were too high for a free kick the ball was played over the top the winger ran on crossed over and they scored 4.1

The last fifteen minutes you all showed real character, spirit and fight.  Really good work by Arlind down the left found Morris who played onto Gabe and he scored 4.2 Back in the game

We now had all the pressure and the ball found Gabe who completed his hat-trick 4.3

You were fully on top playing the better football. However another twist a long clearence and no one tracked the runners, Frankie came out but missed the ball and they rolled into a empty net 5.3 Five minutes to go

Straight back on the attack and you broke down the middle, Good work between Morris and Connor freed Gabe in the middle who didnt panic and fired home his fourth goal.5.4

Two minutes to go and back on the attack, Now i was expecting a good five minutes of added time in which you could of got the equalizer,but the referee played a grand total of ZERO. So that was it 5.4 FT

MoTM : A fairly easy one today for me today i have a joint award but for different reasons, Harry played really well in the right wing back role, created some good opportunities, tracked backed and defended really well and Gabe led the line really well all game and scored 4 Goals. Well done both of you.

A tough game, against a good side, however we had chances:

Today’s squad Frankie, Jack, Tom, Morgan, Harry, Connor, Edonis, Saul, Jed, Arlind, Morris, Oliver, Theo, Joey, Louis, and Reynolds.

First ten minutes we were under pressure but were holding and looked dangerous on the break. First chance fell to the opposition but Frankie saved well. We had to make some important blocks in defence but we were up to the task. After Fifteen minutes game really started to open with the big pitch, A long ball out found Arlind who played it forward to Morris, who shot from the edge brought a fantastic save from their keeper to gives us a corner. Connor took the corner to the far post and it looked like we would score with two men free but some how they cleared and broke quickly hitting us with a 4 v 3 defenders, but the defence did well and blocked the shot for a corner. They took the corner and scored at the far post 0.1

We still created chances Morris was unlucky with a header and they did leave gaps at the back. however next chance fell to them a lazy tackle in the box ended with a penalty…..Frankie stood tall dived to the right and pushed around for a corner, Well done Frankie, this time from the corner you all challenged and cleared well. Twenty five gone and Nick brought on Fresh legs. Good work between Jed and Saul created space down the left, Jed cut the ball back to towards the penalty spot  and Reynolds slammed the ball home a really nicely worked and taken goal. 1.1

Whist still under pressure most of the last fifteen minutes we almost scored again, A free kick from Tom bounced over the defence and fell to Ollie who i thought was going to score however it trickled wide of the goal.  Reynolds was unlucky not to get in on a couple of occasions. With five to go we got caught short on the right. Jack went to intercept but missed leaving a 4 on 2 situation which they finished 1.2 HT

Second half started and again we were on the back foot, but holding and again dangerous on the break, However after ten minutes it swung back to them, another penalty, it seemed harsh and would appear to have been going down but we don’t have any “Replays” so he had to give it. Frankie went the right way again but this time it was struck to hard and went in the corner 1.3

Still had a couple chances Morris got played in,had options to pass but elected to shoot and the keeper saved well. Soon after the goal that killed the game with twenty to go, From our attacking free kick we gave the ball away too cheaply and they broke almost 5 on 2 defenders, they came down the right and overloaded us in the box to score an easy tap in. 1.4

Heads dropped a bit and we lost our shape. Last twenty was not our best and better choices by the opposition would of been more costly. We gave the ball away far too much, did not track or close players and it was this that cost us for the fifth as they had time to strike from the edge of the box. 1.5 and that was FT

It was a tough game but if we had taken some more of our chances it could of been closer. Boys i know its hard when we are losing but try to keep focused and work hard till the end of the game. we could of easily snatched a goal or two to come away with a really respectable result which the first 55 minutes warranted.

MoTM ; Tough today Edonis played well in the holding role and good to see him back, Tom swept well at the back, Morris led the line well and Frankie saved a penalty and made a couple of great saves. My MotM today i am going to give to Reynolds for a goal and a really good spell in the first half. Not only did he score but was really unlucky not to create 3/4 more chances. Closed down defenders and made a nuisance of himself. Always trys his best and always will play were ever Nick asks Well done

Tough game, with a much better second half performance.

Today’s squad Frankie, Ollie, Tom, Jack, Jed, Harry, Saul, Connor, Joey, Gabe, Morris, Reynolds and Theo

The first five minutes went very well lots of little triangles and neat 1 -2 very much what we did in training. The first couple of half chances fell to us but we didn’t get and shots off. However after that we got pushed back too deep in defence and let them push on. This created too much room between the defence – midfield & forwards. They started to dominate and probably should of scored.

Frankie made some really good saves from distance and cleared the ball really well from corners. We didn’t seem able to get the ball clear or keep hold of it long enough to get our shape. You had to survive wave after wave of pressure and finally the valve broke. They did some neat passing in the middle and fed the ball forward who scored as Frankie came out.

This actually seemed to fire you up a bit and the last five minutes you clawed you way back into the game and created a few chances but could not get a meaningful shot on target. To be honest you could of easily been two or three down but you were not due to some hard work and good goalkeeping and poor finishing by the opposition.HT 0.1

Second half and you came out and took the game to them creating pressure on their defence. Joey and Gabe started to make good work down our left and creating a few chances. Joey worked hard down the left and was fouled on the edge of the box. Connor swung the free kick past the front defender, Morris got a good flick which Ollie bundled over the line. Back in the Game 1.1

For me we were now very much more in control. Saul and Connor started to win the midfield battle with Ollie helping furthur forward. Tom, Jack and Jed pushed higher up the pitch giving them less time. Also the Wing backs Reynolds, Theo, Harry, Joey were working really hard up and down the pitch. Gabe and Morris looked a threat upfront, Gabe should of got a couple of more shots off after good work to really test the keeper.

With the game end to end now came the controversy from one of our attacks they broke quickly, i then we should of had a foul but the Referee did not see it the broke and shot, now i personally could not tell if the ball went wide or in from where i was and the Referee did not seem to know either. So if he is unsure he cannot give the goal . They were upset and i can see why but in the end it was not given.

However we were to fall behind again with fifteen minutes to go, after a corner which we cleared well, the second ball was given away too cheaply and they crossed it back in to the box and they had two/three players free 1.2

Last ten minutes  and we were pushing for the equalizer it cam from a corner, Connor played it in, Morris battle with a defender for it and a deflected shot seemed to going to the keeper, however the Keeper only parried it back into the six yard area and Ollie smashed it in 2.2.

The last five minutes we survived a couple of corners but also looked dangerous in attack ourselves FT 2.2

MoTM, After a poor first half i though you all responded excellently, Saul and Connor worked really hard in Midfield, Ollie, Joey and Harry all attacked really well, but i am going to give it to Frankie, whose first half performance kept us in the game, he made some excellent clearances from corners and made some fine save from shots on the edge of his box. Well Done

Training Tuesday 6.30PM

A comfortable win …..

Today’s squad : Frankie, Ollie, Tom, Morgan, Jed, Saul, Louis, Connor, Joey, Gabe, Morris, Harry, Reynolds and Arlind

Lunch time kick off and its suited you, as we started well. From the off we were in control of the game. The first chance came soon and Morris hit it at the keeper. This was quickly by chance for Connor whose shot was saved low to the keepers left.  Frankie was spectator for the first twenty minutes as we created chances but failed to execute.

Saul & Louis were strong and working hard in the middle stopping the attacks and allowing us to break quickly on the wings. Some nice triangles from the back between Ollie, Saul and Joey soon found us in the oppositions half in three passes even on a big pitch. Same on the left with Jed, Louis and Gabe creating attacking options. Morris should of scored but he didn’t realise how much time he had with one opportunity.

It took us thirty minutes to finally get the goal the play deserved. Joey broke down the left and cut inside to Gabe, Gabe then cut inside his defender pushed the ball out of his feet and curled it into the top corner. Great Goal 1.0

That should of been the cue to take the game away from them , however after them trying to hit us on the break from a corner we actually one the throw. However instead of taking our time and getting our shape back we took it quickly and lost it, so the broke again and scored the rebound after Frankie mad a good one handed save 1.1

Second half you came out strong and wanted to make up for not taking the chances in the first half, in the first five minutes Gabe broke down the left, beat his man and squeezed it in the far post, Initially the referee was not going to give it but the lineman correctly waved it had gone in 1.2

Five minutes later Gabe broke again down the left went to cross the ball and the defender stopped it with his hand… Penalty….. Tom took the penalty and blasted it to the keepers left 1.3

You were now fully in control of this game and must of created another 5 or 6 chances, Harry knocked a a great ball over to Gabe who chipped the goalie as he came out only for it to go wide. Connor played Morris in and his shot smashed against the post but didn’t not go in. Louis was unlucky with a shot that went over after the ball was played to him on the edge of the box.

Finally you got the fourth that put the game to bed. Gabe and Connor played a good 1 -2  in the corner, Gabe crossed far which was met really well by Reynolds who played the ball across/towards goal, Which Morris met with a thumping header 1.4 (A goal he deserved after good attacking play all day)

Last ten minutes and again we could of got another couple but it was not to be, the last chance actually fell to Aldenham as you all switched off with about a minute to go, the ball got played into the box where they had three men free, some how they blasted it over the bar ! Sloppy Boys !!!!!! FT 1.4

MoTM: Notes today Jed & Ollie both worked hard up and down the pitch at full back, Reynolds played in like all four position Nick asked him to play, but today it went to Saul and Morgan. Saul (Nicks) controlled the midfield defender superbuly and played some great balls out, he covered every blade of grass on the pitch and it was a big pitch. Morgan (David) He got a toe, foot, chest, leg and head to so many through balls, breaking up play and then playing a easy to ball to allow others to play the ball forward. Well done to you two and infact well done all of you.

Well eventually we kicked off 10:45, The referee got delayed but also the opposition were in no hurry to kick off, It was a nice morning for football the rain had cleared, it was chilly but the rain meant the surface was slick for passing.

The opening ten minutes were very even, both teams having some attacking plays but no real chances. Frankie cleared well around his box and the defence looked solid. Everyone was doing their job and working hard for the team. After around twenty minutes we fashioned our first chance, good work down the left and early ball forward found Gabe in space, as he ran forward the defender got back just enough to put him off his shot and it went over the bar.

The next chance came from a corner, Ollie took the corner and floated the ball to the far post, Saul head the ball down but straight at the keeper, normally you would of bet your house on Saul finishing that chance, he was so unlucky. As we moved to half time, no real chances but the game was there for the taking. We probably should of been one up on at half time on half chance and open play attacking position HT 0.0

Second half and now we were going up the hill but i felt we still had enough to cope with the pressure. However in the first five minutes we gave away a needless free kick, the ball was floated into the box, Saul miss judged the flight and it bounced over him (the only thing he missed all day), the forward nipped in at the back and poked it into the roof of the net. He nearly missed it but not. 0.1

We still looked dangerous when we attacked especially if we ran at their full backs. Louis was unlucky from a shot just outside the box, one of you headed over the keeper as he came out but unfortunately it hit the post.

It was soon after we got another, Ollie broke down the right and played the ball across, Gabe called the ball Connor dummied and Gabe buried it from the edge of the box. First the Referee gave the Goal but the opposition claimed he called “Leave”. Now if he did call “Leave” and Referee heard it then its the correct decision. If the Referee did not hear “Leave” then it should of been a goal. Either way after a heated debate the goal was disallowed. Either way call your NAME !!!!

This just fired you all up and helped your play. You all tackled harder, closed players down and created opportunities. Finally the goal came a good ball forward from Saul found Gabe on the left, he cut in smashed it, great goal and got the equalizer you deserved 1.1

The last twenty minutes i felt we were still the better team but still had to sure of our play and defending, with about fifteen minutes to go the ball found Gabe down the left who again cut inside and shot. The keeper seemed to have it covered but tried to palm the ball away but instead pushed it into the path of Ollie who bundled it over the line 2.1

Last five minutes and almost a repeat of the two previous goals, again Gabe was the outlet ball down the left, cut inside and looked to curl it into the corner, but this time it drifted over.

We still had some defending to do a free kick in the corner which i don’t think was foul was played in but you scrambled it away. Another free kick down our right in a really good position for the opposition, Frankie set his wall, but it was a nervous moment, the free kick was taken and then sailed over the bar. The last couple of minutes we played the game in the opposition and and could of nicked another, but not to be FT 2.1

MoTM -A difficult one today but some notes on all of you

Frankie – Much better coming out and sweeping but excellent kicking from hand and goal kicks.

Morgan, Tom, Jack – Cleared well and got many foot in and interceptions

Saul, Louis, Connor, Arlind – Worked hard in midfield closed, hassled and created chances for the forwards

Jed, Ollie – Up and down the flanks all day

Gabe, Ollie – Tackled back, created chances and scored goals, gave the defense no respite

So MoTM ALL of YOU (and Nick) – Also great to see Joel coming to support and wish him a speedy recovery

Really well played, a good and deserved win, lets use this as a spring board to push on the next couple of games. See you all at training on Tuesday 6.15PM

Very Unlucky to lose.

Today’s squad Frankie, Morgan, Tom, Edonis, Harry, Louis, Saul, Connor, Joey, Jed, Ollie, Gabe, Morris, Arlind and Reynolds.

We started fairly well in what was a tight first ten minutes. We had a couple of chances Ollie was unlucky not to get on the end of one and Jed created some good pressure with his pace upfront. Just as i said to Nick that we were looking quite good after 15 mins, we got caught square at the back and the strike ran on to finish really well. 1.0

Nick ran the first of the changes and it almost paid off immediately Gabe ran onto a ball down the left and the keeper save with the shot with his foot as he closed the angle. Frankie made a good save also coming out to narrow the angle. Good work down the right and the ball played to edge of the penalty area where Connor hit it first time but it sailed over the bar. The last chance of the half fell to Saul who rose well at a corner from Jed but his header was cleared off the line. HT 1.0

Second half we almost gave a goal away with some slack passing and clearing, but we weathered the storm and came back into the game. Gabe and Morris were creating problems for the defence and were unlucky not to get on the end of a couple of chances. Connor intercepted the ball in midfield, drove forward and shot only to see the ball go over by a couple of inches.

With twenty five minutes gone Jed won the ball in our half and drove forward, played the ball into the box but it was cleared, only to fall to Jed again, this time he played it to Saul who in turn put a dangerous ball across the penalty box, the defender toe poked it out but Louis was following up to smash the ball into the corner. Really good goal from Louis 1.1

Suddenly we were on the front foot and looked dangerous every time we attacked .  A ball was played from the back Morris flicked it on and Connor came through from deep to finish really well as the keeper came out 1.2

Last five minutes and it went away from us, they started to pressure us more and at times we over committed going forward. It was from a break away that Tom slid into concede a corner and got winded, Whist he was off the pitch the corner was taken and a free header at the near post made it 2.2

The last few minutes was end to end stuff, both teams looking for the win, unfortunately not our day. As we looked to break a stray pass went to the opposition who ran down the left and scored. So so unlucky.

Last thirty seconds we pushed everyone up but could not find the equalizer you so much deserved. 3.2 FT

MoTM : Well last week i couldnt even bring myself to write the nlog. Much much better this week. Player of note Harry , good second half got really involved, Edonis played well down the left of teh three at the back, infact the back three Tom, Morgan and Edonis played well. But todays MoTM was Connor worked really hard on midfield unlucky with two chances but scored his third, Well done

A close game against Top of the League

Today’s squad Frankie, Joel, Edonis, Morgan, Jed, Ollie, Arlind, Saul, Harry, Reynolds, Morris. Tom, Connor and Jack

We were under pressure from the start, Frankie had to come out a couple of time early to stop dangerous situations. The defense work hard but we struggled to get out of our own half. Edonis and Morgan made some important interventions as well. With ten minutes gone we fell behind. The ball was given away too cheaply and bouncing ball was volleyed into the top corner. 1.0

Slowly we started to get back into the game, but still much of the game was played in our half, Morris worked really hard up front and was a great example to any player showing what defending from the front is. Ollie looked dangerous on the break and created a few half chances.

With twenty five minutes gone we fell behind to another shot from outside the box. It deflected and then took a bounce off the grass that beat Frankie 2.0

The last fifteen minutes we started to put them under pressure in midfield and started to create more chance. Connor and Saul worked hard to closed the midfield down and stop them from playing. With a couple to go Harry closed down the full back and won a throw, Quickly taken by him and Jed, Jed drove to the byline and crossed for Ollie to finish at the far post. Really good goal and well deserved 2.1 HT

Second half stated and this time i felt we were pressing them much more and looked much more dangerous. We won a free kick that Tom played in, Connor just missed it with a out streatched foot and Saul almost got to the end of it at the back post.so so close.

Still on top we created a couple of more chances but just couldn’t find a way past. Only to be caught on the counter, along ball from the back and they scored in the near post as Frankie came out. 3.1

We still pushed but left ourselves open a bit on the counter Frankie made two great saves, one coming out when the player was through and the second pushing a long shot pass the post.

With five minutes to go we broke down the right and a great ball in found Morris with a great header. 3.2

You pushed and pushed to get the equalizer, Nick played 3 at the back to try and get the win but it was not to be. A break in extra time made it 4.2

Really unlucky today really proud off all of you and the attitude.

MoTM, Players of Note Connor, Morris, Morgan and Ollie , but today it went to Edonis, really strong at the back , made some great tackles and played some good balls forward.

First Win 🙂

Today’s squad Frankie, Joel, Morgan, Edonis, Jed, Saul, Louis, Harry, Gabe, Morris, Ollie, Reynolds, Joey and Arlind.

To be honest again we were slow starters, yes we had the majority of the pressure but we didn’t close down quick enough in the middle of the park. Morris was unlucky with a early chance, but we almost paid the price in the first 5 mins. A simple ball run not challenged a ball through the middle and it was one on one with Frankie. Frankie came out really well and blocked the shot with his foot to clear for a corner, a really good save.

The next ten minutes we got back into the game Gabe and Ollie looked dangerous and Morris continuously harassed the defence. Ollie nearly scored from a outrageous over Kick that just went over the bar. However he was not to be denied and five minutes later after good work by Gabe & Morris Ollie finished really well. 1.0

Still we had most the pressure but old habits slipped back. We didn’t close the man and again a simple ball played through this time no chance from Frankie. 1.1

More chances came, i am sure we scored from a free kick but a dubious offside said not. Gabe scored but again another dubious offside. With ten minutes to half time it looked like we were going to finish the first half level but Arlind had other ideas……

Arlind a late call up was on hand to finish good work from Joey down the left. Joey played a great ball and Arlind smashed it home. 2.1

Literally 5 minutes later we had a repeat good work down the left and again Arlind was fed in the box and fired it home 3.1 Two excellent finishes 3.1 HT

Now unfortunately i had to leave so no second half report, i did ask the boys to send me one but i email was extremely bear ……..

I was informed that they had more control of the second half but created little chance apart from one goal so sounds like the defence had a good strong second half.

MoTM . Well easy one for me this week, a late call up to the squad , possibly first touch was a goal and then a second to follow. Well done Arlind two great finishes

Must stop giving away silly goals in the first 5 minutes …….

Today’s squad Fankie, Jack, Morgan, Edonis, Joel, Arlind, Saul, Louis, Jed, Connor, Gabe, Theo, Reynolds, Joey and Morris.

We always knew that this season would be tough, however we make it so hard for ourselves with the slow start. After moving to the correct pitch we finally started. And i think half of you were still on the other pitch. Within three minutes we were 0.1 down. No one closed, no one tackled ran through and placed it into the corner.

Slowly you started to wake up, not creating too many chances but you started to get involved. Arlind had a running battle with there left winger but he never gave up and worked hard in the first half a great example. Frankie made some excellent saves from distance and kept held of some strong shots. Finally we got a break, a free kick just inside there half Edonis Shot/Cross was parried by the keeper and Saul followed up to volley it home doing so well to keep the ball down in the first place. However the linesman raised the flag saying we were offside when the free kick was taken dubious……….

With ten minutes to go we were in the game Frankie come for a ball and misjudges it, the ball bounces around Frankie, Edonis & Morgan but unfortunately it falls to the striker who passes it into a empty net. 0.2

With five minutes to go again we give them too much time on the edge of the box and and they get the shot off Frankie makes an excellent save diving to his left. Arlind took a kick to his foot and had to come off injured after a good half. HT 0.2

Second half started better, Nick changed it pushing two upfront and this seemed to help keep them on the back foot, Some good work by Joey and Gabe down the left nearly created a a goal for Gabe but the shot went just wide. With ten minutes gone Jed set off on a run in his own half, he beat four players and then played the ball through to Gabe who ran onto the ball and shot towards the goal. Morris came charging in at the back post and smashed it over the line. 1.2

Almost straight from kick off Frankie came out to save with his feet on a one on one. Another let off but the game was much more open. Gabe was soon played through and finished well however the linesman flag went up and offside given, this one i think was correct. Next it was there attack and after having two or three chances to clear we lost the ball it was switched out to the left and the ran the ball in. 1.3 Boys play football in the opponents half of play the ball into the channels / space if we are under pressure give everyone a chance to reset and get your shape back.

With fifteen minutes to go the pendulum swung again good work between Connor and Saul, Saul feeds the ball to Morris who blasts the ball into the back of the net. 2.3

Ten minutes go and we pay the price, some confusion over the referee blowing, there players looking offside but basically you all stopped, didn’t play to the whistle and they score 2.4

Last ten minutes and we created a few half chances, Gabe is unlucky, Morris nearly gets to the end of some neat work. Frankie makes another good save and kept hold of a shot with the forward closing in.

MoTM, Well after the first ten minutes which i will pretend never happened you all played so much better Edonis made some good clearances, Jed had a fantastic run for the first goal, but today it went to Saul non stop all over the pitch, probably scored a equalizer but it was disallowed, set up the second goal with a great pass to Morris. Well done Saul

Boys well done today keep your heads up. You have probably played the four strongest teams in our division first. We have some winnable games coming up and i am looking for a change in fortune.

A tough game ……..

Today’s squad Frankie, Joel, Edonis, Morgan, Jed, Saul, Tom, Louis, Theo, Morris, Gabe, Connor, Joey, Arlind and Reynolds.

The best news of the day was that the rain stopped so we could play after that it went down hill. We started off poorly and invited on pressure from the onset. We failed to close them down and cut out the space. giving them so much time on the ball. Theo had our first chance on goal but struck it out wide. Almost immediately from that chance we came under pressure, The ball was played down our left and worked in back to the penalty spot where the player had more time than Theo Walcotts 2nd goal yesterday (he had about 5 Minutes) and placed it into the top corner. Too many players did not track back and the defence did not close down the space ….. 1.0 20 minutes gone

Our next chance fell to Joey who after good work between Connor and Morris fell to him just outside the box, Joey struck it low and hard but the keeper got down really well and pushed it away. I still felt we were under pressure and failed to really stamp any authority on the game, Thirty minutes gone free kick is awarded just in our half the keeper launches it to the 12 yard line, No one challenges for the ball, it bounces picks up pace and flies into the top corner. Nothing Frankie could do and a bit of a fluke 2.0

Last ten minutes we still looked out of sorts. Saul clears from a free kick surrounded by 5 of there players, no one else went with the runners. Frankie makes two good saves coming out to close down at the strikers feet. And to be honest it should of been 3.0 when the left winger was complete unmarked but blasted it over the bar. 2.0 HT

Second half you started better and attacked from the off, in fact you had the first real chance and the keeper saved well. Unfortunately they went straight up the other end and it was like the parting of the red sea in the middle of defence, we had a couple of chances to clear but took none. They ran and scored 3.0

Just in case anyone missed the first re-enactment of Moses and the Red sea in happen again , no closing , no tackle, goal 4.0

Now for the next twenty minutes you actually played your best football. Jed won the ball in defence played it up to Gabe who ran onto goal and calmly finished really nice goal. 4.1

The goal definitely rattled them and they started to get more verbal and giving away free kicks. Saul was really unlucky with shot that went wide when i thought he was going to score. Gabe was causing havoc down the left and a couple of times he pulled it back but the ball would not drop. The opposition were clearly rattled and it showed in there descent, 3 Yellow cards, Also Edonis got booked for a tackle on the edge of the box ( a little bit of revenge me thinks). Anyway it all culminated in them having a player sent off with Fifteen  minutes to go after he verbally abused the Referee. The best part of this none of you got involved and let your football play. However i also felt the Referee had let to much go at the start of the second half and he lost control and to be honest the match petted out. The match became very stop / start and the flow of the game got disrupted.

Gabe and a couple of half chances but nothing to speak about, Here is an unusual statistic we did not get a single corner the entire game !!! FT 4.1

MoTM : Well i will be honest i struggled today, no one was outstanding and a few of you were good in patches so i am giving it to Nick for his commitment and desire to the club.
